My photography journey kicked off when I was 14, attending a small arts magnet school in Vancouver, WA. I was the awkward kid desperate for social acceptance, so I jumped into photography ‘cause all the cool kids were doing it. But guess what? I actually ended up loving it and learning a whole lot along the way!
In my 20s, I landed a gig at Yuen Lui Studios, the most well-known portrait studio in Seattle. That’s where I first got my hands dirty with studio lighting—skills I still use and refine today. And after moving to the Westside of Houston? My work got splashed across multiple boudoir photography publications and even won awards for its unique lighting style.
The Revellion kicked off in 2023 when my neurotic obsession with climbing the corporate ladder left me completely burned out. I needed a rebellion, a reason to REVEL in my life again. Boom!
The REVEL-lion was born.
But I wasn’t just rebelling against the soul-sucking corporate grind. I was flipping off the cookie-cutter world of boudoir too. You know, those soulless pretty pictures that literally EVERYONE has? Screw that.
